Scope
This notice describes the new Florobit website with its tale, project information and Collection, and the browser game available at /play/. It does not replace the privacy notices of external linked services.
Website delivery and hosting
The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, proprietor René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement is in place.
Requests involve processing your IP address, requested address, time and technical browser/connection information to deliver content and secure operation. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website. The website cannot be delivered without the necessary connection data.
Access logs and visitor statistics configurable in the hosting account are disabled. I therefore do not maintain a stored history of your page visits. Information about processing by the hosting provider is available in the ALL-INKL privacy information.
Website without tracking
The static information pages set no cookies of their own and do not store your language selection in browser storage. The page address determines the language. Images, fonts and scripts are served from our own hosting space. No analytics pixels, advertising trackers, social media feeds or external videos are embedded.
Your browser may use ordinary technical caching. The website does not use it to recognise returning visitors.
Local game storage
The game runs in your browser. It uses localStorage to retain your game state, including generated Florobits, drawings and progress, and your selected sound, volume and motion settings. The current version also remembers whether you have finished the intro. The current code creates a save on loading and updates it while you play.
The reviewed game code does not transmit these values to me or an analytics service. There is no player account or cloud synchronisation. Storage has no fixed automatic expiry. Data remains until you clear the website data, your browser removes it or the game overwrites it.
“Start again” replaces your game state with a new one; it does not erase all settings. Clear the website data in your browser to remove all locally stored Florobit data. This deletes saved progress. Previously downloaded backup files remain on your device.
localStorage is also generally covered by section 25 TDDDG. Storage without consent is permitted only insofar as it is strictly necessary for a service explicitly requested by the user. Information alone does not replace consent where it is required.
Images and game files
When you save a Florobit image or game backup, the game creates the file locally for download. A backup file you select for loading is read locally in your browser. The reviewed code does not upload these files to a server or send your drawings to an AI service.
Contact by email or telephone
If you contact me, I process the contact details, messages and any attachments you provide to handle your enquiry. Contract-related enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other correspondence under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on my interest in responding.
Messages to info@florobit.org are received and handled in a dedicated mailbox at ALL-INKL.COM. They are not automatically forwarded to Gmail. ALL-INKL processes email data under the existing data processing agreement.
Correspondence is deleted once the enquiry is concluded, unless statutory retention duties or a necessary retention for legal claims apply. Retention required by law is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
External links
Instagram and the artist website are ordinary links in the footer. No Instagram feed is loaded. Following a link takes you outside Florobit; the destination service’s privacy information applies. Depending on your browser and the destination address, technical referrer information may be transmitted.
Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability under Articles 15–20 GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future; this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
For processing under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation under Article 21 GDPR. Please use the contact details above.
You may complain to a supervisory authority, especially in your place of residence, work or the alleged infringement. No automated decisions
The processing described here does not involve automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
